Nestled in the heart of the South Cambridgeshire countryside, The Dog Spot offers professional dog grooming in a calm, relaxed setting where your dog's comfort always comes first. With over 11 years in the pet care industry, we bring genuine expertise and a real love of dogs to everything we do.
Our team is led by owner Kelsey, a Level 3 OCN qualified groomer with additional training in dog behaviour, ensuring every groom is handled with patience, understanding, and skill. She's joined by Danielle, an experienced groomer with over 9 years in the industry and a strong background in city salon settings.
Together, we cover all aspects of pet dog grooming, from regular scheduled full grooms to de-sensitising packages tailored to your pet, all in a peaceful, countryside environment away from the stress of a busy salon.

At The Dog Spot, we also offer professional cat grooming, carried out with the same care, patience, and gentle handling as all our services. We understand that cats can find grooming a little more daunting than dogs, so every session is approached calmly and at your cat's own pace, with no sedation used at any point.

Emmi-pet Teeth Cleaning
The Emmi-Pet
uses ultrasonic technology to clean teeth thoroughly and completely silently, with no vibration or noise. This makes it ideal even for dogs who won't tolerate a conventional toothbrush. Regular ultrasonic cleaning helps prevent gingivitis, periodontitis, calculus build-up, bad breath, and tooth loss, supporting your dog's long-term dental health.
Please note: this is a preventative treatment and does not replace a vet de-scale and polish. For the best results, it should be carried out regularly as part of your dog's ongoing grooming routine.
Pricing

First treatment: £55 (includes toothbrush head)

Follow-up sessions (if a deep clean requires more than one visit): £40 per session, or £115 for 2 sessions if paid upfront. All follow-up treatments must be completed within 2 weeks of the first session.

Top-up clean at every rebooked groom (maximum 8 weeks between grooms): £20
Other scheduling options are available — please get in touch to discuss what works best for you and your dog, and pricing will be adjusted accordingly.
