How to book with The Dog Spot
The Process
This is a quick run down about how we book new clients in with us.


Get in contact...
You can get in contact with us via this website, email, text, whatapp, social media or a good old fashioned phone call (my preference). We will ask you to include the following details:
Breed, grooming history, age of dog, when they are due their groom, your availability.
To secure an appointment
We need your full name, dogs name, email address and a mobile number to book your dog in. We reserve the right to take a non-refundable deposit to secure the appointment, and once payment has been made you will receive confirmation of your appointment. This fee is transferrable only once as long as it is before the 48 hour notice window. If cancelled under 48 hours before the appointment you will lose the deposit and also fall under the no show / late cancellation fee and you will need to pay the remaining balance of the cancelled appointment before another booking will be offered. You will receive a reminder message 48 hours before your appointment via text/email.



The appointment
When bringing your dog to their appointment please ensure you do the following:

Ensure your dog has been to the toilet

They arrive on their lead and not let off

Do not arrive early unless discussed prior, if you are early please call or text to see if we are able to take your dog early, we may still have a dog with us.

Be calm and confident at drop off - your dog knows if you are anxious and can pick up on this.

Give us clear instructions of how you would like them groomed. Be honest about your dogs needs.

We will call/ text with 30 mins notice of a pick up time or agree a time on drop off if a repeat client.

Bring treats, make sure your dog thinks this is a fun day out !
